Thank you to Deputy Superintendent James Yap who took time to read to our first graders today! Mr. Yap visited classrooms and shared the book "A Little Scribble Spot" written and illustrated by Diane Alber.

Grady third graders were introduced to the various ecosystems in their classrooms and were assigned a special project — to create a diorama of a specific environment. Students stepped up to the challenge. They created amazing dioramas of their chosen ecosystem, complete with grasses, trees, snow and a menagerie of animals that live in these environments.

In an annual tradition, several alumni from Alexander Hamilton High School returned to their alma mater to meet with current juniors and seniors. The panel discussed what life looks like “on the other side" following graduation.

The Elmsford Union Free School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Jeffrey A. Capuano as Interim Principal at Alexander Hamilton High School.

Interim Superintendent Dr. James Ryan was recently presented with a plaque from Mayor Robert Williams in honor of his Outstanding Service to the Elmsford Union Free School District. Dr. Ryan has served as interim superintendent for the past year and will finish his tenure at the end of this month.
