Welcome to instructional technology.
The instructional technology classroom is on the third floor, room 303. Our room is outfitted with 20 computers and two large digital TVs. The classroom computers are arranged so students can work with a partner if needed. The computers are also visible to the teachers, so they can facilitate monitoring. We utilize programs such as Scratch, Photoshop, Code.org, and Google Education Suite, which includes docs, forms, sheets, slides and drawings. For our STEM Robotics classes, we use the Lego Mindstorms Education EV3 Robots along with the software and curriculum. We also hold virtual robotics classes using the CS-Stem Network by Carnegie Mellon Robotics Academy.
