Elmsford Union Free School District Superintendent Search Community Forum

The search for a new superintendent for the Elmsford Union Free School District has begun.

We invite the community to share their thoughts and their questions at a Community Forum to be held on Thursday, Jan. 25, from 7-8 p.m. in the Alexander Hamilton High School auditorium, located at 98 South Goodwin Ave., Elmsford, NY.

Please join Southern Westchester BOCES District Superintendent Dr. Harold Coles, Assistant Superintendent for Educational Services James Gratto, and District Clerk Mary Kelley, who have been approved by the EUFSD Board to oversee the superintendent search. The team will be available to answer questions and explain the hiring process.

Dear Elmsford Community,

          As you are aware, the Board of Education has selected Harold A. Coles, Southern Westchester BOCES District Superintendent, to serve as our search consultant and oversee the process.

          Working with Dr. Coles and his team, we have begun to develop a plan and timeline, as well as a profile of the expertise and qualities we are seeking in our next superintendent.  To assist us in this effort, we are inviting you to participate in a brief survey.  The Board values your input and wants to provide an opportunity for all stakeholder groups to share their views on the characteristics needed in a new district leader, as well as your thoughts on district aspirations and goals over the coming years.

          Please click on the link below to participate and share your ideas.  All responses are anonymous and will be kept strictly confidential.  Surveys should be completed and sent in by Friday, January 26, 2024, the end of the business day.
