• Dear Alexander Hamilton Junior and High School Family!

Welcome to the 2019-20 school year!

First, I would like to congratulate the graduates of our 2018-2019 class. Once again, our students have set the bar high for future graduates.  As we embark on a new school year, I am seeking a partnership with parents in helping to ensure that all students reach their potential. We can achieve this by encouraging students to arrive to school each day ready to learn and actively engage in their education by focusing in class, asking thoughtful questions and completing their assignments. Additionally, I am always available to answer questions, provide support when needed and help ensure that each student’s individual academic needs are being met.

We have much to be excited about for the 2019-2020 school year. As many of you already know, our 7th graders came in the spring to meet the Peers as Leaders, tour Alexander Hamilton, and connect with some of their teachers. This visit was well-received and provided our 7th grade students with a mentor for the start of the school year. I am excited to announce that through a partnership with Amazon, we will now be offering AP Computer Science.  In addition, our Scientific Research course will be growing and be offered to a wider range of students.

Please note that I will once again be using Talking Points as a means of communicating with the community regarding important information and events.  Please feel free to contact the office if you are not receiving these messages.

As we embark on this journey together, please feel free to contact me at any time. My number one goal is to continue to provide a safe learning environment for each student where they feel free to take academic risks, realize their passions, meet their potential, and gain confidence to become responsible members of their community. Through hard work, communication, and your help, we can achieve this goal as well as many more together.
